The Irvine Cowl includes stitch counts on all of the rounds and instruction on how to customize the width. There are also (3) options for the instructions based upon skill level or preference. This pattern has been thoroughly tested and while it appears to be simple creates a beautiful finished cowl! Option #2 uses foundation stitches, Option #3 uses back bumps of the chain -- if you are unfamiliar with these techniques I have linked tutorials in the notes section of the pattern. This pattern is very versatile and can be used with any weight yarn & corresponding hook size.
