The hat is quite adaptable. And a rib can be added to it to make it more structured. The lace work is a simple repeat. Easy for a beginner.
It’s great for using up that 1 skein of dk that you brought but weren’t sure what to make with it.
You can add a bobble. But I like the crown to much to hide it.

It is made in the round so circular needles or dpns are needed.
