Isaac's Bunny Mittens
I used less than 1/4 of a 400g aran weight yarn, but you can use any 10ply yarn or if wanting a lighter/cooler mitten use a lighter yarn.
I would say this pattern used between 50-100g of yarn.
Currently this pattern is only for a child aged 3-7 years (my son has quite large hands for a three-year-old), but if required i can add additional sizes.
I used green (shade 0934) which I purchased from Hobbycraft Dundee (on the Kingsway Retail Park), but feel free to choose and use whichever colour you like ( my son choose green - his favourite colour).
You will also need some scraps of yarn for the eyes, noses and mouth (I used some scraps of DK weight mixed colour yarn), and four buttons for the eyes.
You will need:
- set 5 double pointed needles 3.5mm (either 13.5cm/20cm you choose)
- some waste yarn to use as a holder
- a safety pin or stitch holder
- two stitch marker or small safety pins.
