Isabella Scarf
Isabella is an easy, relaxing knit in garter stitch with traditional Old Shale lace in the borders at each end, creating attractive waves highlighted by the horizontal stripes. It’s a great project for showing off two skeins of yarn that complement each other, or contrasting yarns would also look wonderful, the choice is yours! The size can easily be adapted.
The two row stripes are simple to work – the yarn is carried up the side so there are no ends to join, and the neat slipped stitch edge disguises the extra loop.
CONSTRUCTION
The scarf is knitted in two halves which are then grafted together.
