Crochet in back and third loop (insert your hook into back loop, tilt your work toward you and you will see a smaller half bar/loop underneath. Insert your hook into that stitch as well. This gives your stitch a little bit more stability than using back loop only.)
3 DC cluster (yarn over, insert hook into loop, pull up a loop, yarn over pull through two loops, yarn over insert hook into same loop, pull up a loop, yarn over pull through two loops, and repeat till you have four loops, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops, CH 1 to close.)
Supplies
I used a worsted weight yarn.
US I-8/5.50
Caron jumbo ombre, sunset, approx 50 yds, 45m for 1 square
Gauge is not crucial for granny squares. They can be made with any yarn, using the size recommended for the yarn. But I have included my gauge for this yarn and hook.
11 DC x 5 rows=4”
