Isaz Afghan Block
The Isaz Afghan Block is named after the Viking word for ‘Ice’ and is filled with wintery themed textures crochet stitches that would make a lovely textured addition to your crochet blanket.
You could either follow suit and use colours similar to mine, or you could shuffle your colours and see what unique colour combos you can come up with!

Pattern Specifications:
Finished Size: 8 x 8 inches (20.3 x 20.3 cm)
Yarn: 10ply / yarn weight #4 (Worsted)
Pattern works best with three colours - referred to in this pattern as:
Crystal Quartz (854) YARN A
Green Agate (855) YARN B
Blue Apatite (845) YARN C
You will also need:
Scissors
A yarn needle
Hook: US size H/8 (5 mm )
Pattern will work in other hooks and yarns though
finished size will be different.
Gauge: 4sc = 3inch / 7.6cm
Obtaining the correct gauge is not critical to this
project but if your gauge does not match then your
finished item will be a different size.
