Isblomma is a simple but comfy shawl. The body of
the shawl is knit in stockinette stitch and there’s a simple lace border.

SIZE
Approximately 142 cm/57” wide at the neck and approx. 65cm/26” high from neck to bottom tip of the shawl.

YARN
Isager Eco Soft (56% Baby Alpaca, 44% Organic Pima Cotton; 125m per 50g skein), 3 skeins.
OR approx. 300m of Worsted/Aran weight yarn, or a combination of different weights to achieve a similar gauge (for example lace weight mohair + worsted weight wool).
Note: if you choose to use a combination of different weight yarns, you will need the meterage/yardage above per yarn.

NEEDLES
5mm (US 8) circular needles (100cm/40” or longer). GAUGE 12s & 21 rows = 10cm/4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking. - Since this is a shawl, gauge is not awfully important, but different gauge will of course effect the finished size.

NOTIONS
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.

Isblomma on yksinkertainen mutta pehmoinen huivi. Huivi alkaa sileällä neuleella ja huivin alareunassa on yksinkertainen pitsi-raita.

NEULETIHEYS
12s & 21 kerrosta = 10cm sileää neuletta, pingotuksen jälkeen. - Huiveissa neuletiheys ei ole elintärkeää, mutta vaikuttaa huivin kokoon ja langan menekkiin.
