Iseut is an elegant but deceptively basic top. It features twisted ribbed cuffs, waistband, and crewneck collar, accentuated and strengthened by knitting with two strands of yarn held together. The body of the top is sheer and is intended to be worn with extremely generous ease. Shaping is done by increasing and decreasing both stitches and needle sizes. Despite its simplicity, Iseut can be made using the finest luxury yarns, elevating it from a basic crewneck yoked top to a statement garment.

Choose a main laceweight yarn that has a nice halo, such as one with a mohair or brushed alpaca content. The sample shown uses a similar colour secondary yarn in a smoother wool, but feel free to experiment with colour and fibre combinations to make your own unique version of Iseut. The pattern’s simplicity allows for a whole range of possibilities!
