Isla’s favourite season is summer, when she can put on her favourite pink swimsuit and go to the beach with her friends. She also loves showing off the watermelon towel that she got for her birthday!

Getting an exact gauge is not important for this project.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
  • The finished bear ends up approximately 11cm tall sitting down (including ears) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa
  • Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through
  • The pattern is available in US terminology
  • The 21 page pattern includes step-by-step instructions for assembling your bear

  • Magic circle, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, invisible decrease, crocheting around a chain, continuous rounds, front loop only, back loop only, crocheting in rows

MATERIALS

  • Head, ears, muzzle, body, arms, legs, and tail: 8 ply (DK) cotton in light brown - approx. 18g / 44m / 48yd
  • Body, hat, and bow: 8 ply (DK) cotton in pink - approx. 15g / 37m / 40yd
  • Hat and towel: 8 ply (DK) cotton in white - approx. 7g / 17m / 19yd
  • Towel: 8 ply (DK) cotton in red and mint - approx. 6g / 15m / 16yd in red and approx. 2g / 5m / 5yd in mint
  • Black thread to embroider eyes, nose, and towel
  • 3mm crochet hook for 8 ply (DK) cotton
  • Yarn needle
  • Polyester fiberfill stuffing
