I found a similar Windowpane pattern online when we were moving from Tropical Hawai’i to Wintery Germany in early 2014. It was pretty, but had way too many rows for one repeat! And let’s face it, I’m pretty lazy. So, naturally, I had to come up with my own super simplified version! You’re Welcome =^.^=

This a very beginner friendly pattern and a great way to practice the treble stitch if you haven’t tried it yet. More experienced crocheters will LOVE how fast & fun this project is to make!

As a Cowl it’s fantastically cozy and can be worn as a simple double wrapped cowl or pulled up like a hood.

As a Wrap it makes a wonderful warmer for chilly shoulders. You could even add a Fringe!

Either way, it’s great for gifting…or keeping!
