This is a rectangular shawl knit lengthwise from bottom up. The pattern is comprised of two stitch patterns; the Ocean Waves stitch pattern with waves over a background of Stockinette stitch and the Foaming Waves stitch pattern with a blend of Garter Stitch and lace. It is knit with a heavy worsted weight Merino and Silk yarn that has a lovely drape. This is a quick knit that is perfect for playing with both texture and lace.

Needle: US 13 (9.0 mm), 32” (80cm) circular needle. Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
Yarn Used: Wallflower Yarns (Heavy Worsted; 60/40- 60% Superwash Merino & 40% Silk; 550yds/509.92m; 8.818oz/250g; Colorway Mango Berry Punch).
Yardage: Approx. 800yds/731.52m.
Gauge: 10 sts per 4”/10cm. Gauge is not crucial to this project, but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used.
Final Measurements: Please note that measurements will vary based on the gauge, yarn used, and how aggressively the shawl is blocked.
