It’s bright, it’s colourful, it’s made with dreamy yarn…
The Winters are grey here in Canada-but not from where I’m sitting! A blanket so cheerful it’s bound to remind you of tropical getaways and warmer, sunnier days ahead.
Made with the coziest wool I could get my hands on… Crochet.com (or KnitPicks) very own Wool of the Andes makes this blanket extra special. This blanket was original designed in a hand dyed merino DK weight yarn which has since been retired. I thought that it was time to find the exact same colours and remake this beauty in a classic, simple- yet stunning yarn. The new blanket is made with a traditional Peruvian Highland Wool with solid and heathered colours mixed together in total perfection (if I humbly do say so myself). I was awestruck by the combos while working with them and I do hope you love it as much as I have.
You won’t want to miss this one!
This pattern is worked up using the large sunburst granny square.
The pattern uses WeCrochet (Knit Picks) Wool of the Andes Worsted (110yds/50g) and a 5mm hook (size H).
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning.
My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!
