This cosy cowl is inspired by the beautiful scenery on the Isle of Harris. It is knitted up with Super Chunky/Bulky /Yarn using 9mm straight knitting needles. The pattern also includes instructions for knitting it up with Aran/Worsted yarn on 5mm straight knitting needles. It is suitable for beginners as the pattern consists of knit and purl stitches only and there is no shaping.

I choose to use all the same yarn to knit this up, but this would be a great way to use up you stash to create a unique design.

The pattern can be easily adapted to knit up with other weights of yarn.
