Inspired by a tour of the Scottish Highlands, especially the furnishings and view from a 2 day stay in a cabin next to a loch on the Isle of Skye. The cushion is simply double crochet with surface cross stitching of a stag or a thistle. The back is two rectangles of double crochet in one colour, fastened with toggles.

This cushion is also part of the Isle of Skye Bedroom Collection which also includes a tartan cushion and a tartan bed runner.

The colours I’ve chosen are the beautiful muted hues of the Scottish Highlands with the red/pink highlights of amazing sunsets.
