ISOBEL - a becoming plain coloured spacious jumper in Shetland wool. The jumper is worked in rounds. The sleeves are worked flat separately for then to be joined to the body. The big collar is worked in Fisherman’ Rib Stitch (Brioche Stitch). Accurate written pattern.
The model on the photos is the original in size large.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 4↓.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Bust: 94 cm - 101 cm - 108 cm - 115 cm - 122 cm (in: 37 - 40 - 42.5 - 45.25 - 48)
Length: 57 cm - 58 cm - 62 cm - 64 cm - 66 cm (in: 22.5 - 22.75 - 24.5 - 25.25 - 26) or as desired
Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters. To use 300 - 350 - 400 - 500 - 600 g.
The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles.
Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.5 mm, 3 mm and 3.5 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking st (washed sample): 25 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
