This is ISOLDE - a Valentine’s theme mosaic crochet square.
The technique used for this square is overlay mosaic crochet.

This pattern includes charts, written instructions, detailed explanations of the special stitches and step-by-step CAL video tutorials. The square comes with a simple frame and 2 beautiful border designs.

I used 4 colors for this square - pattern color, 2 colors for the background and one color to decorate the border of the square.
Yarn used: Red Heart Super Saver, about 100 yards of the pattern color, about 100 yards of the main background color and less for the second background and accent color.

I used hook 4.5mm, but I like to crochet tightly, hook 5mm would be fine. You can also use any other yarn and a corresponding hook.

The size of my finished square is 18” x 18”.
