Istappar (Icicles) is a pattern card recipe for a cardigan. Istappar was designed by Bohus founder Emma Jacobsson some time between 1948-1955.
A photo of an original pattern card is on page 24 of Bohus Stickning på nytt The Revival. The pattern reference in the book describes the pattern as being made from angora yarn, however the pattern card describes thin fine wool. Chart notes also state this yarn is, unusually, used double in some pattern elements.

Projects knitted using the Istappar pattern card are Bohus Stickning inspired projects. They cannot be called “Bohus Stickning” projects, as they do not meet following 3 criteria: they must be knitted in the colors re-created by Solveig Gustafsson and/or Pernille Silfverberg based on the original Bohus Stickning colour cards, they must be knitted in the required quality of the yarn (lace, 2ply, angora/merino 600m/100g or Lambswool 450m/100g and of course they must be knitted fully using a Bohus Stickning pattern.
