„It depends“, because for the shawl it depends on how much yarn you have, how many leftovers you have, how colorful you want to have it, how many ruffles you want to have, what size the shawl should be…

Material:
1 skeins 100g; (approx. 420m / 100g) fingering yarn - > Main Color; For the example on the pictures, I used hand dyed yarn (purple)
Approx. 90g (approx. 420m / 100g) fingering yarn; For the example on the picture sock yarn in dark grey was used - > Contrast Color
Approx. 40g additional leftovers (approx. 420m / 100g) fingering yarn -> Leftovers for Color Effects
The quantities can also vary. You could use more colors in the „Main Color“ and „Contrast Color“ sections. You will receive a more colourfull result.
Circular knitting needle 3.5mm/US4; used length: 120cm/47’’ and at the beginning needles with 60cm/24’’ length could be used if available.
For a yarn with other yardage, you need another amount, the shawl will have another size and the needle size has to be adapted.

„It depends“, weil es beim Tuch drauf ankommt wieviel Wolle Du hast, wieviele verschiedene Reste Du hast, wie bunt Du es haben möchtest, wieviele Rüschen Du haben möchtest, wie groß das Tuch werden soll…

1 Strang / Knäuel à 100g; (ca. 420m / 100g) in Sockenwoll - Stärke-> Hauptfarbe; Beim abgebildeten Muster wurde ein lila gefärbter Strang verwendet.
Ca. 90g (ca. 420m / 100g) in Sockenwoll – Stärke, hier hauptsächlich in dunkel grau -> Kontrastfarbe
Ca. 40 g weitere Reste (ca. 420m / 100g) in Sockenwoll – Stärke -> Reste für Farbeffekte
Die Mengen können auch variieren. Es können auch innerhalb der „Hauptfarbe“ und „Kontrastfarbe“ mehr Farben eingesetzt werden. Das Tuch wird so viel bunter.
Rundstricknadel 3,5mm; verwendete Länge: 120cm. Am Anfang kann eine kürzere Nadel (60cm) verwendet werden.
Wenn Garn mit anderer Stärke verwendet wird, wird eine andere Menge benötigt und die Nadelstärke muss angepasst werden.
