This is a very useful and fun to knit backpack/purse. The stitch patterns are interesting and keep you engaged. I lined mine and it has gone on many, outings. Love mine and I hope you will love yours! The backpack/ purse is started at the bottom of the bag, and you pick up stitches around the edge of the rectangular moss stitch bottom. As you work in the round you will see you bag become very interesting as you add bobbles and basket weave stitches. Top it off with more bobbles and some ribbing that is folded over to become your casing for the straps and VOILA! you are ready for a Grand Day Out and About.
