The ribbed structure of this project includes multiple yarnovers combined with right and left leaning decreases to create a sturdy yet delicate eyelet fabric. The drape is both light and plushy. With only a four-row repeat pattern, this project is a relatively quick knit. The border includes single crochet, half-double crochet, and a scalloped crochet chain edge. Dimension: approximately 24”x30” (after blocking). Yarn requirements: 570 yards DK weight for main color, 50 yards DK weight for 1st border, 31 yards worsted weight for outside scalloped edge. Color suggestion: solid, tonal, or tweed for main pattern; multi or contrast solid for border and edge. Tip-use at least a 24-inch circular needle to accommodate large number of stitches.
