Crochet pattern for a beanie hat and scarf designed by me. This hat and scarf feature an unusual texture achieved by a modified sideways cluster stitch. There is a photo tutorial included in the pattern of how to work this stitch.

Size: Hat fits adult size head (21-23 inches). Scarf measures about 68 inches long

Materials: Light Worsted or Dk weight yarn and size H (5mm) crochet hook or hook required to obtain correct guage.

Gauge: 18 sts × 7 rows in pattern stitch = 4 inches (pattern stitch is rows 2-3 of scarf)

The pattern is written in standard American/U.S. terms.
