It’s a Hoot! A Ladies Cardigan done with beautiful cables to create Owls all around the shoulders.

The “owls” eyes are buttons which are attached during the actual crochet work and not sewn after. So no sewing on later!!! On this sweater I chose to only add eyes to two of the owls, however pattern is written so that you have the option to add them to all of the “owls”. There is also two buttons for closure on top front of the sweater.

Pattern is written in 4 sizes with zero ease:

Small - 35” Finished Bust with 14 owls around the yoke. Medium - 38“ Finished Bust with 15 owls around the yoke. Large 41.5” - Finished Bust with 16 owls around the yoke.
X-large 44” - Finished Bust with 17 owls around the yoke.

Stylish and classy yet very cute and fun!

Written in American Standard terms and knowledge of front post and back post crochet is required and assumed. This is an advanced pattern due to the cabling design worked in rows. However the sweater construction itself is very simple as it is Circular yoke worked from the top down and then split for arms and body.

Pattern was inspired by my other owl cable patterns and by Elizabeths Percentage System to create round yoke sweaters with a design around the shoulders.

Please note that there are two versions of this sweater available: a cardigan and a regular pull over. This one is for the cardigan and is written to do the cables in rows.
