The details of the pattern have been professionally checked and the pattern has been test knitted. Hem shaping changed to be shallower and smoother based on feedback from the test knitters.
Light-weight wardrobe staple
This silk mohair sweater has relaxed fit, a curvy hemline and a wide v-neck. It is knitted seamlessly (except for a short seam at underarm) from the bottom up, holding two strands of lace weight silk mohair yarn together. The sleeves are worked separately in the round and then joined to the body for raglan decreases. The neckband stitches are picked up along the neckline edge and the neckband is worked in the round. The hem, sleeves and neckband have a neat brim made with twisted rib.
Techniques
The long-tail tubular cast-on and tubular bind-off methods are recommended. German short rows are used to shape the hem. The pattern includes links to tutorials covering the techniques above or the technique is explained in detail in the pattern.
Sizes
The garment has six sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL). Recommended positive ease around bust is 15 cm / 6 inches. Bust circumferences for the finished garment are: 90 (100) 110 (120) 130 (140) cm / 35 ½ (39 1/2) 43 1/4 (47 1/4)) 51 ¼ (55) inches.
