Inspired by Bernie’s Mittens by Jen Ellis, this is a cowl pattern starting and ending with a rib, and using my chart interpretation of Bernie’s Mittens for the main body.

Measurements: Approx. 24” circumference, 11” tall

Yarn: Four colors of any worsted to match the original / chart, approx 100 yards of a Dark Brown or Black; 100 yards of Medium Brown or Caramel; and 75 yards of Oatmeal or Beige and Ecru.

Needles: US 5 and 7 16” circulars or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 20-22st. per 4”
