This pattern uses Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique with SC and DC stitches (no diagonals or other fancy stitches). There are helpful hints and links to videos if you are unfamiliar with this technique, otherwise pattern assumes you know the basics.

You may use 3/DK/Sport weight or 4/Worsted weight for this pattern, 3.75-5mm hooks depending on your yarn and your personal tension preference. I used 3/DK with a 4mm for the sample in the photos.
