It’s Madge-ical
I’m always amazed at the processes of transforming fiber into yarn and yarn into wearable and decorative items. We are all magicians, working magical feats through our skilled hands. Take some beautiful yarn (which is magical in itself), tools and instructions, a little time and patience, and voilà, something truly original and magical appears!
This shoulder cozy/ponchette/capelet (I never know what to call it) is a fun knit and a nice layering piece to add to your collection. It’s an easy exploration of a few different stitch patterns and techniques.
This sample is knit with two skeins of Merino Sport, a lovely, heavy sport weight merino, hand-dyed by Fiber Macgyver, Susie. All of Fiber Macgyver yarns are simply fabulous!
Susie, and her travel buddy, Madge, (her super cute camper, shop, office and home on the road), load up with gorgeous yarn, traverse the country, attending fiber fests, and offer beautiful Fiber Macgyver hand dyed skeins for purchase. Her yarns are also available on her website and at LYSs. Check out the website: fibermacgyver.com to see more pics and their schedule of events.
I hope you enjoy this pattern and have a Madge-ical adventure of your own.
