Additional Materials:

• assorted beads (20 for body and at least 2 for tie)
• clear nail polish (optional, to stiffen yarn end to thread beads and to secure knots on tie)
• stitch marker (or safety pin)

Gauge:
Rounds 1-6 equal 3 3/8 inches

Notes from the pattern:

• You can substitute any yarn that gives the correct gauge. Using the suggested yarn, one cozy will take about one-third of the 400-yard ball.

• This cozy fits standard wine bottles fairly snugly. Test the fit as you work. If you prefer a looser fit or have a slightly larger bottle, use a hook one size larger (I/5.50 mm).
