It's the Wolf Wrap
It’s the Wolf Wrap is something a bit silly and light for keeping cosy on cooler days. He’s just long enough to curl round your neck and there’s a wee loop under his chin to pull the tail through and tighten.
The finished scarf measures 80cm x 11.5cm from nose to tail and will wrap around the neck once. It could easily be made longer if you’d prefer a double wrap.
I use US crochet terms and you’ll only need to know a few basics - forming magic rings, single and double crochet, increasing and decreasing. The ears and legs are made separately but get crocheted in as you make the wrap from tail to nose. There’s some stripey crochet involved for the chin, but it’s optional. Details for all the materials I used are also noted on the pattern but Ask a Question if you’d like to know more.
:o) I try to use yarn efficiently when I’m working on a pattern, but I couldn’t get away with just 1 ball without compromising the design! With this yarn it uses just over 1 ball! You may get away with 1 ball if you choose something else, or you could make a longer scarf to use the yarn more economically, or buy 3 balls and make an extra wrap to give away!
The PDF pattern is an instant download and once you get started I’m here to help if you need it.
Thank you for looking and happy hooking :o)
