Itsu's Cozy Slipper Socks
Originally Published for the Fall 2019 Ficstitches Yarns Kit Club
Everyone needs a cozy pair of Slipper Socks to keep their feet warm. Crocheted ribbing makes a nice stretchy fabric for an easy fit using front post and back post double crochets. A quick project to whip up for a gift or for yourself.
“I think I’ve made a pair of slippers for everyone in the family now. Except for me.
These aren’t for me, either. I’m making them for Katsuko. I already finished a pair for Itsu. His are in a darker blue, close to the same color as Princess P’s feathers. Honestly, and I won’t tell him this, but I dyed the yarn trying to match it to her feathers.
The ones I’m making now are the same orangey-red as Yoyo.”
