Appropriate hook size for your yarn choice (I used H/8-5.00mm hook)
polyester stuffing
Black yarn for facial details
tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Rattle insert (optional)
Monofilament thread (optional)
Yarn for the collar (optional) (I used black)
Safety Eyes (optional. Can use buttons or crocheted eyes)

Abbreviations

Rnd = round
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
2 sc tog = 2 single crochets together
st = stitch
sts = stitches
sl st = slip stitch
dec = decrease
F/O = fasten off

Insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. There should be 2 loops on your hook. Insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. There should be 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
