To make these two bugs you need:

• Two pairs of 12 mm safety eyes
• Four 30 cm pipe cleaners in pink or red (or twelve pieces of 10 cm)

Gauge is not super important for this, the main thing is to choose a suitable hook size and yarn thickness. The fabric should be firm enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through the stitches.

My finished bugs are both 13 cm long. The heart is 11 cm tall and wide.
