These are the most adorable little man socks. Cables, twists and jazzy ribbing are simple yet elegant details that even a novice knitter will master in no time. Proficient knitters can do these up in a snap without being bored. Not babyish in the least, but warm and oh so grown up, for those dress occasions or just to keep warm on a chilly fall or winter day. These would also be nice done up in a cotton or bamboo blend for warmer climes or summer days in the north countries. If you have oddments of fingering yarn about, then you could do the heel and toe in a contrasting colour. Very retro.

Beige socks made in Cygnet yarn in shade Oatmeal.
Brown tweed shown in Regia 4 fadig Tweed shade no. 1.
The 2 tone version mad with the Cygnet Oatmeal and oddments of Araucania 4 ply.

A half ball of fingering or about 25g, and a set of 2.0mm double pointed needles are all you need to make these darlings!

Knit, and gift, with Joy!
