Even if you are new to Mosaic knitting this pattern is not going to be hard to do.

Why try Mosaic?

Mosaic is a “no-tears-colourwork technique”.

Mosaic is simply the easiest way to achieve stunning colourwork. While the finished product looks very complex it is actually not difficult to create at all.

Each row or round works with only one colour at a time so there is no need to carry the other colour and have to manage holding two colours all the time.

Pattern instructions are written out in full and does not require that you use charts but charts are included for those that prefer them.

Easy peasy, I promise.

You choose your preferred method.

Itzel is Spanish for “rainbow lady” and is a good name for the sister of Xiomara.

While they are from the same bloodline they do look different from each other and their personalities are also unique.

Choose six colours for the body of the shawl and a good contrast colour for the accent of Mosaic.

Create your very own rainbow with colours that make you happy.

Measurements: After gentle blocking shawl length is 178 cm/70”, width is 46 cm/18”.
