An airy cardigan with styling borrowed from men’s wear is a modern ideal for the transitional seasons. Worked in Loft at a loose gauge and blocked to drape beautifully, this weightless layering piece conveys simplicity without sacrificing smart details. The tunic length, deep ribbing, and vertical rivulets of twisted stitches flatter a variety of figures. Seamed construction adds stability to the light fabric and puts the cherry on this cardigan’s professional good looks.
CONSTRUCTION
All pieces of this garment are knit flat, bottom-up, and seamed; ribbed neck and button bands are picked up and knit to finish the edges.
