I've Been Framed! Placemats
Sometimes something as simple as changing up your table linens is enough to add some freshness or a pop of color to your dining room. The simplicity of the woven block look allows the yarn and the colors to become the heroes of the design. The texture will not only protect your precious table from scratches but help keep it clean even if the kiddos won’t.
2 colors of Medium Weight/Worsted Weight Cotton, I used LionBrand Re-up in Orange, Pale Sky Blue, and Grey and Herrschners Village Yarn Craft Cotton Cone in Really Red. I also recommend lily sugar and cream as well as bernat handicrafter. (each placemat uses a total of 100 - 120 grams of worsted cotton depending on brand.
