This is a hat made using 100% pure Shetland wool. I have made mine with Jamieson and Smith Supreme jumper weight wool (4 ply) but you can use any of the Shetland jumper weight wools for this pattern, as you may like to use a different colour palette. Shetland Supreme jumper weight is undyed natural coloured wool from the Shetland sheep.

I have used Fair Isle charts and a corrugated style ribbing.

This hat is dedicated to my husband Ivor, who I have been married to for over 30 years. He kindly wore it for the picture, to help you see how it looks worn.
One ball of each wool is required but please note these balls are sold in 50g’s rather than the 25g balls often sold. Therefore you will have plenty of wool leftover for other projects.
