“I…waited”

If you are a fan of Doctor Who and more recent seasons, then you understand the gut-wrenching sadness that accompanied those words. Oh, Bill. You were such a delightful companion and I was both shocked and so sad by your departure. This cowl is inspired by The Doctor, dedicated in loving memory to Bill, and honestly, pretty fun for anyone who loves cowls and space.

The I…waited cowl is made with larger needles and very light yarn so it is light and drapey and you won’t want to take it off- it breathes so beautifully. A loose, gentle cable goes right up the center providing a center focus that will be surrounded by your beautiful star clusters of beads.

Here’s the fun part…no-one will have the same bead designs. This is a very interactive pattern regarding bead placement that will allow every knitter to follow a different path but end up with a unique, completely one of a kind galaxy cowl of their own. Whimsy encouraged.Throw caution, and beads, to the wind.

YOU SHALL NEEEED!
-1 cake of Lion Brand ombre life yarn or approx 250/275 weight 2 fine/sport yarn
-US 6 (4mm) cable needles
-1 tube of 6/0 glass beads (or whatever size you prefer)
-cable needle
-3 stitch markers
-crochet hook for bind off (optional)
-needle to weave in ends
