Izzalini is a round-yoked sweater that is worked seamlessly from the top down. After finishing the neck ribbing some short-rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the round-yoke is worked top down with first a cute ‘bobbly’, followed by a simple and elegant lace pattern band. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down. Sleeve stitches are then picked up again to work the sleeves top down in round to the cuffs.

The bobbles give some texture for the yoke and are made by wrapping the yarn around three stitches. The lace pattern is simple to execute, and it shows just a bit of skin for a feminine look.
