The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 3.5mm hook Beanstalk will be approx. 27cm high & 9cm wide.
Jack will be approx 10cm high & 8cm wide

I use stylecraft special double knit for most of my applique patterns but any double knit yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important

It looks gorgeous on a baby blanket or in a shadow box for a baby gift. Its perfect for a lap blanket or afghan.
It looks great on a bag or wall hanging too.
