Yarn - DK weight - about 10g of the orange and 2g of the brown. I used Ricorumi cotton in Orange (027)/Fox (025) and Chocolate (057)
Needles - US4/3.5mm
Darning needle
Scissors
Polyfill

Notes on the yarn

If using Ricorumi DK, you’ll need about 10g of the orange and 2g of the brown. I used Ricorumi cotton in Orange (027)/Fox (025) and Chocolate (057)

You can easily substitute the yarn with any other DK or worsted weight. The size will be a little bigger with worsted. I also suggest going up a needle size if using worsted.

Construction

The pumpkin is worked flat then sewn up the sides using an invisible seam. After joining the sides, you will weave through the cast on stitches, stuff the pumpkin with polyfil then weave through the cast off stitches.
