SIZE of finished toy: approximately 15 cm/6 inch in case you use the same materials I used
MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES:
- Yarn - Sport weight yarn (Fine yarn) for cotton+acrylic yarn or Fingering (Super fine yarn) for 100% cotton yarn
Colors: white (approx. 20g), black (approx. 15g), brown (approx. 10g), green (approx. 5g)
I used:
Yarn Art Jeans (50g/160m, 55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic):
Colors: black - #53 (the bottom of the base, soil, eyes, mouth, nose)
green - #82 (leaves)
brown - #40 (tree)
Alize Cotton Gold (100g/330m, 55% cotton 45% polyacrylic)
Colors: white - #55 (the pot)
- Crochet hook suitable for your yarn (I used 2 mm Clover Amour, it corresponds to 1.75 mm regular crochet hook)
- Scissors, tapestry needle, pins
- Stitch marker (I use a piece of yarn)
- Fiberfill (stuffing)
- Stuffing tool (I use wooden skewers and tweezers)
- Wire 2 mm (I needed about 60 cm). It is better to use copper wire, it is stable, durable and bends easily, but you can also use steel or aluminum wire.
- A piece of plastic, to make the bottom steady (I used a lid of a plastic container)
