Small crochet squares join to make the side panel of the hat. Please take note of the rounds worked on the top and bottom of the side panel of the hat. The crown of the hat works as a separate panel and is joined to the side panel of the hat. The rim is then joined to the bottom side panel of the hat.

Work in the round, keep track of your stitch counts per round, ensure that the final count around your small squares are all the same.

Pattern size is based on working with a 3.5mm crochet hook and double knit cotton yarn, please note that using a smaller or bigger crochet hook, will change the final size of your crochet hat
