For everyone out there enamored with little pet costumes for Halloween, here’s a fun and easy pattern to keep your cat in the loop and cozy too :)

This pattern is a simple ribbed sweater meant to look like a pumpkin with a jack o’lantern face added to the finished object, either via duplicate stitching or embroidery.

Sizes included are for small, medium or large cats corresponding to a cat body circumference of: 9-11”(12-14”, 15-17”) - feel free to customize to your particular cats needs so that they are comfortable. The test knit for this was knit in a size medium for a cat with a (semi-fluffy) circumference of 14”.

Materials:
Main Color yarn - 60 (70, 80) grams worsted weight wool (140 (160, 180) yd, 130 (150, 165) m)
Contrasting Color yarn - 2 grams worsted weight wool (5 yd, 5 m)

Sample is knit with Patons Classic Wool Worsted in main color Pumpkin and contrasting color Black
