“What’s this?” This C2C (Corner To Corner) throw-sized blanket features Jack Skellington and his signature bat bow tie. This pattern is written for worsted weight yarn, but would also work well with other yarn weights.

Difficulty: Intermediate, due to multiple color changes. Prior C2C experience recommended but not a must.

Dimensions: 50 x 56”

Yardage: 890 yards of white yarn, 1090 yards of black yarn. I used WeCrochet Brava Worsted in White and Asphalt Heather.

The pattern includes:

  • basic C2C instructions with photos
  • tips and links to resources to make your project look its best
  • a visual graph
  • a row-by-row checklist that breaks down the “blocks” and track your progress

Skills needed:

  • chain
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • double crochet
  • slip stitch
  • weaving in ends

Yarn bobbins are recommended to prevent tangled yarn; the pattern includes links to tutorial videos for butterfly bobbins (which I used with great success) and how to make yarn bobbins with household supplies.
