Jack with Pail Bookmark
Do you like the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme. Have you always admired his willingness to help Jill get some water? I made this reading companion bookmark series for fun. It commemorates Jack’s historic climb up the hill with Jill.
I really liked how it worked and I think the result is really cute.
This is a fast pattern to make and can be done in about a day. It makes a quick gift for a reader.
It uses simple crochet stitches such as sc, hdc, dc. The pattern is great at explaining how to make this bookmark with a darling end result sure to be any reader’s favorite.
It uses small amounts of crochet thread and any colors can be used so it is a great project to use up small amounts of crochet thread (25 yards being the most that is needed).
bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10)
10 yards peach (or choice of skin color)
25 yards delft blue (or choice of pants & suspenders color)

1 skeins brown (or choice of hair color) embroidery floss
Small amount of polyester fiberfill.
