This reversible scarf uses the Jacob’s Ladder technique with single crochet stitches rather than the usual double crochet stitches.

Though the fabric is striped, you do not cut the yarn at the end of each row, and therefore only have the beginning and ending ends of each ball of yarn to weave in (or you may be able to hide them in the fringe!)

Gauge and yardage varies based on the yarn you choose and the length of scarf you desire. 100g / 3.5oz of each colour should be plenty to make a 5’ long scarf

Once you get the hang of this technique, altering the pattern to different widths is fairly straightforward

Stitches used:
chain
single crochet
slip stitch
elongated single crochet
