This headband is knit in a Jacquard or double-knitting technique. It creates an extremely warm, durable fabric by interlocking two layers of knitting; the strands between each side of the knitting effectively make a third layer, making this thin fabric warm and insulating. In appearance it creates a finished work that is ‘right side out’ on both sides, making it completely reversible.
