Jacqueline's Mittens LH
Here is a great pattern for mittens! My sister has been asking me for mittens for quite some time, so I made these for her.
This is the LEFT-HANDED version. While most of it translates to right-handed crocheting, there is a bit that will be tricky. The right handed version will be coming out soon!
They use less than one skein of Caron Simply Soft Yarn and a 5.0mm hook.
Stitches used:
-ESC: Extended Single Crochet. This is very similar to the SC. Insert hook in stitch. Yarn over, pull up one loop, yarn over pull up ONE loop, yarn over pull through two loops.
-SS: Slip Stitch
-CH: Chain
-V Puff: Two Puff Stitches separated by a chain 2 in the same stitch.
-FLDC: Front loop double crochet.
-HDC: Half Double Crochet
I would consider this tipping between easy and intermediate level.
I was able to whip these up in about two hours; the Puff-Stitches help with that.
Thanks for purchasing my pattern; I would love to see your finished projects.
