Jacques Sweater
Knitting Pattern for a classic sweater with black and white stripes, a round neck, a double folded collar, puff sleeves, a cropped length and a slightly oversized fit.
Structure:
The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch and in four pieces: the front and back part, left and right sleeve. Body and sleeves are shaped with increases after the hem in twisted ribbing and colourful stripes over body and sleeves are worked in every 10 rows. To shape the shoulders and to form the round neck, you are going to decrease for the last rows. Afterwards, you are going to sew the pieces together and you are going to attach a hem in 1x1 twisted ribbing to the round neck, which is folded to the inside and created a lovely, double folded collar in the end.
The fit of the sweater is slightly oversized, it has drop shoulders and a cropped length. The sleeves are wide and tighten at the cuffs to create a voluminous look.
