Headbands are very easy to make and can be whipped up in under an hour’s time for that last minute gift for Christmas.
Jadai means braid or plait in my native language Tamil.
It is a very simple pattern using just sc stitches. If you want a longer headband just increase the number of sc rows before and after the braid. Gauge is not important.
Any fingering weight or Dk weight or left overs from your stash would be ideal for this project. The yarn shown in photo is a discontinued yarn from Vardhman.
